We are in the midst of a controversial (and sometimes painful and divisive) process of making an important decision together about the future of Lyons. By March 24, Lyons’ citizens will have chosen by vote whether we are willing to cede five to seven acres in Bohn Park for the purpose of building affordable recovery housing.

Roads Traveled with Linda L. Osmundson
Yes, Yellowstone and the Grand Teton Mountains are probably the most well known destinations in Wyoming. However, there are other smaller interesting tourist attractions. We travel I-80 often in route to Salt Lake City to see grandchildren but seldom go north on I-25.
Today I’ll give you ideas for two-day trips along those routes.

Yes, another week gone by, with some snow and more to come. The TV states that Colorado snow pack is fifty inches below normal. Maybe we will get some spring snows, which will do a lot of good. Spring is just around the corner, the crocus are out beside my driveway

The City of Boulder’s Open Space and Mountain Parks (OSMP) Department will increase enforcement of new Voice and Sight Tag Program changes that went into effect on Jan. 1. The changes require off-leash dogs to visibly display current blue Voice and Sight Tags, which demonstrate their guardians have complied with new program requirements. Previously issued green tags are no longer valid.

I dreamed of visiting many places after graduation, the Rocky Mountain’s tree line, twin cities of Minneapolis/St. Paul, the Great Salt Lake, Arizona’s desert, and both oceans to name a few.

Another week gone by. Where does time fly! We are all saying prayers this week due to the severe accident our good friend Rick England was in with driver Iann Clayton up the North St. Vrain by the Stone Mountain Lodge. Both are in the hospital with broken bones.

Here it is, another week gone by. A lot of good music in town always; at Oskar Blues, The Fork, The Stone Cup, Spirit Hound Distillery, and others. You are always invited to attend and enjoy.
The Town of Lyons is getting lined up for the sixty recovery homes on a portion of Bohn Park, although a vote is still required. It is indeed a challenge to give up a part of that beautiful park, but what else? I do want to compliment members of the Housing Replacement Task Force
