Rachel Tallent’s mixed media art show titled “Instagram! Bam! Thank You, Ma’am!” will be featured at The Stone Cup for the month of February.  This will be Talent’s second one-woman show at The Cup, and she will host an open house celebration Friday evening, February 6, from 6 to 9 p.m.

Break the Winter Blahs

There’s nothing like friendly conversation over a hot nutritious meal during the cold, overcast days of winter. Lyons seniors have been enjoying this experience over the past several decades, thanks to dedicated volunteers and donors. The current senior center is located in the Walt Self Community Building on Railroad Avenue, next to the post office.

Another  week  gone  by. Where does time fly! We are all saying prayers this week due to the severe accident our good friend Rick England was in with driver Iann Clayton up the North St. Vrain by the Stone Mountain Lodge. Both are in the hospital with broken bones.

Chauncey Billups to play in the 3rd annual "Hoops for Hope"

Adam’s Camp announced today that they are teaming up with Partners in Pediatrics (PIP) again to host Hoops for Hope, a basketball/entertainment event to raise funds for the children, youth and families of Adam’s Camp and Chauncey Billups is joining the team for this third annual event, expected to draw up to 1000 in attendance.

Here it is, another week gone by. A lot of good music in town always; at Oskar Blues, The Fork, The Stone Cup, Spirit Hound Distillery, and others. You are always invited to attend and enjoy.

HOUSING
The Town of Lyons is getting lined up for the sixty recovery homes on a portion of Bohn Park, although a vote is still required. It is indeed a challenge to give up a part of that beautiful park, but what else? I do want to compliment members of the Housing Replacement Task Force
