You Rock boys!

Dear Editor,
I had the pleasure of being a Lyons Lions football team mom this year, but I didn’t do it alone. Not only did I have two amazing co-captains who did just as much as I did – Liz Triffet and Denise Dick-Clark – but I had other parents who stepped up so much (Paul Triffet, Michelle Titus and Brian Kalvig are just three who come to mind) that I have to say: Lyons rocks!

Tools for Christmas

Ask the Handywoman! with Kheli Mason

I was asked recently what I thought was the most important tool a Handy Woman (or Man) should have. As a business woman, of course the first thought that came to mind was a phone. Use it to call me! But, setting aside the obvious, it really is a good question.

“Sink Or Swim”

Lyons residents Kenyon and Juli Waugh, proprietors of the new Lyons Dairy Bar (138 Main Street, in the Lyons Village Central Plaza) have been hard at work for the last few months giving their 600 square foot ice cream shop a complete make over. American Exceptionalism

The Jamestown Mercantile

by Linda L. Osmundson

The sign on the door read “Closed” and the times of operation stated, “Monday, 4:00.” Still, a car, with the driver’s door open, sat alongside the road in front of The Merc (short for Mercantile), located in the small town of Jamestown. A neighbor offered to go inside to get Rainbow.

Medical Marijuana To Go To The Vote

By Joseph Lekarczyk

In the interest of full disclosure, let it be known that the author of this article is married to the Mayor

On paper (in this case the agenda) it seemed rather straightforward. Ashley Rheingold, owner of Headquarters, a medical marijuana center (mmc) located at 310 Main Street, was asking the Board of Trustees (BOT) at Monday night’s meeting, to approve the relocation of her business
