Reflections On Lyons Volunteers

How is a natural disaster a lot like the mess in the garage?

After a while, you become accustomed to looking at it. The rigors of daily life prevent you from re-arranging things as you want them.

During the initial recovery, Lyons Volunteers deployed multiple teams with 20 people each. More recently, the entire workforce has been less than 20 people.

Sally Kay Stambaugh (Endres)

Former Lyons resident Sally Kay Stambaugh (Endres), of Lincoln, NE, recently passed away at the age of 68. Sally was born in Longmont on March 31, 1946, to Paul and Thelma Endres of Lyons. She grew up in Lyons and was very active during her school years. Sally was a cheerleader, belonged to pep club, played the drums in the marching band, a member of theta row, and eventually became a Rebecca.
