The weekend of Friday, April 26, and Saturday, April 27, brings two of my favorite local bands to Oskar Blues in Lyons. The two bands are very different from each other, but similar in their ability to entertain folks with first-class music.

SVVSD Tech Fair
The public is invited to join St. Vrain Valley School District students and teachers at this year’s Tech Fair to be held on Saturday, April 20, at Skyline High School, 600 E. Mountain View Avenue in Longmont. Projects from all subject areas will be on display from 10:30 a.m. to noon. A visit to the Fair will provide a great opportunity to see what students are learning in school, and how they are applying technology to their day-to-day activities and special projects.

The Lyons Lions track teams traveled to Jeffco Stadium in Lakewood on Friday and Saturday, April 12 and 13, to participate in their most competitive meet of the season thus far.
