Offered to high school students ages 14-18, the University of Colorado Denver’s Summer Music Industry Program is designed to show students what it takes to be a musician today. The program will help students achieve a higher level of artistic and instrumental proficiency, and improve industry-relevant fundamental musical skills that will prove valuable as students continue to pursue a career in music. The program is open to all teens, including those not living in metro Denver; students have the option to stay on campus.
The program dates are June 15-27, 2014, and significant scholarships are available for families with demonstrated economic hardships, as well as competitive merit awards. The application deadline has been extended until April 30. The extended deadline still welcomes merit, financial, and partial DJ Chonz scholarship applications. Click here to apply.
