Over many years my husband and I have celebrated our country’s birthday standing on the same corner of his small northern Minnesota hometown. In a general sense a general sense, true. But a foundation is only the start. I would suggest that just as important as a good foundation is a good roof. The best foundation in the world won’t do you a bit of good without a roof to protect the overall structure of the building, and in some cases, the foundation itself.

All aboard the “Salute to Seniors” ship! In memory of the 100th year of the Titanic tragedy, the Colorado Gerontological Society presented a program at the Colorado Convention Center, which offered many historical adventures. Artifacts were displayed by the Molly Brown Museum, and vintage cars by the Forney Museum.
