Lyons Automotive sponsored the great car show during the Good Old Days celebration on Saturday, June 24. All registration fees and donations (a little over $1300 total) were presented to Habitat for Humanity of the St Vrain Valley to help with the construction of the six homes they will be building here in Lyons for people displaced by the September 20143 flood. Boulder County and the City of Boulder began the seasonal audible testing of the countywide emergency sirens at 10 a.m. on Monday, April 3. The test was the first of the monthly emergency audible siren tests, which take place each year on the first Monday of each month from April through August.
The Town of Lyons Department of Parks, Recreation & Cultural Events will be reinstating a parking fee for LaVern Johnson Park in 2017. A parking fee of $5 for every 4 hours for those who wish to park in LaVern Johnson on weekends and holidays, from April 1 through October 15. One free resident
We've all known it for some time, but now it's official. Lyons has been named Colorado's best outdoor adventure town (small town division) by Elevation Outdoors Magazine.
