Then make plans to attend the 7th Annual Thanksgiving Potluck at The Old Gallery at 14863 Highway7 in Allenspark.

“Every year, The Old Gallery provides turkeys, and people are invited to bring side dishes to share. However, we welcome everyone, whether they can bring a dish or not,” said The Old Gallery Board President Gregg Rogers. The event begins at 4 p.m.

Financial Assistance Available For Energy Bills

As energy costs continue to rise, help is once again available for Boulder County residents who struggle to pay their winter heating bills. LEAP, the Low-income Energy Assistance Program, is accepting applications now through April 30, 2016.

LEAP assists low-income residents with covering the costs of heating their homes. The program is designed to pay the highest benefit to households with the highest heating costs. Western Stars Gallery & Studio Grand Opening

Proprietors Betsy Hubner, Chrystal DeCoster, and Clara Thomas were joined by dozens of friends and family as Lyons Mayor John “Tex” O’Brien helped them cut the ribbon for the grand opening of their Western Stars Gallery & Studio last Sunday (November 15) afternoon. The gala affair was catered by the new restaurant The Axe & Oar, which is located in the same building at 160 East Main Street in Lyons (the former Outlaw Saloon).

In addition to featuring the art of the proprietors, the gallery will also show numerous works of art from local and regional artists familiar to most area residents. Calling All Bakers!

Calling all bakers, chefs, cooks, and pie makers. Now is the chance to get a little community recognition for your culinary skills! Drug Collection Box At BoCo Sheriff’s Office

The Boulder County Sheriff’s Office is able to once again collect unwanted medication through a drug collection box. The Drug Enforcement Agency and the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment are assisting with the funding for the destruction of the collected medication, which is allowing us to offer this service to the community.

The Boulder County Elections Division has finished tallying the results for 85,211 ballots for the 2015 Coordinated Election and has posted preliminary unofficial results on their website -
