History Of Trees In Sandstone Park

The Ecology Board will take a picture and document the huge Colorado Blue Spruces on the east end of Sandstone Park. The board is seeking any informational history concerning those trees, like when were they planted, or by whom. Or were they there already in place when the park was created? Anything you know will help.            

Free Movie Nights

The City of Boulder’s Parks and Recreation Department will host a series of community events from Friday, June 12 to Sunday, June 14, at Valmont City Park, located at Valmont and Airport roads. The weekend begins with Valmont’s first movie in the park of the summer, followed by the Dog Park Expo and the annual Valmont Open Disc Golf tournament.
