Lady Lions Struggle Against Ranked Teams

It is not easy to be a softball player in Lyons.  The Lady Lions are a 2A school playing in a 3A league. Not only do they have to compete against bigger schools with a greater student population, they play in the best 3A league in the state. 
With four of the top 3A teams competing within the league, it is not surprising that the Lady Lions are struggling.  At 4-10 on the season, it is still possible that they may make Regionals due to the strength of schedule, but they will need to win at least one more

Not only has Paul Roberts made his case for being the best high school distance runner in the state, Roberts has also bolstered his number fifteen ranking in the nation. The Lady Lions Tested!

Last week, on Tuesday,  September 22, only the JV team had made the trip to Denver for a match against Denver Academy. They walked away with another win, 25-12 and 25-14. Leading the way for the Lions on offense was Adele Walker and the serving excellence of Caitlyn Kohler with five aces.

Willow Farms to Hold Benefit for Levi Davis

Willow Farms will be holding a benefit for Levi Davis, a 3 year-old Longmont native who lost his mother, Megan Davis, last year. The event will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2016 starting at 3 pm. All funds raised will go to Levi’s college education.
