Community Volunteers Needed For Project:KIDS

There will be a planning meeting for the November Project:KIDS on Thursday, October 23, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., in the conference room above the Barking Dog, 431-B Main Street. Heil Valley Ranch Open Space to be Closed for Prescribed Burn Oct. 25 & 26

Boulder County Parks and Open Space and the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office Wildland Fire Management Program are conducting a prescribed burn at Heil Valley Ranch on Oct. 25, weather permitting. The park will be closed completely Sat., Oct. 25, and Sun., Oct. 26. Specific areas will reopen as soon as it’s deemed safe to do so by fire personnel.
 
The Wapiti prescribed burn will cover approximately 150 acres and is located around the Wapiti and Ponderosa Loop Trails. (Map)
