The iconic big banjo (about thirty feet long and nine feet tall) sculpture, created by local artist Jacob “Cos” Leeuenburgh sat in front of his home on Reese Street for years. When Leeuenburgh moved earlier this year, he began searching for a new site for his creation. Last week a large crane lifted the banjo onto a flatbed truck and drove it about a half-mile to its new home, a field just outside of town across from the entrance to the Eagle Canyon subdivision on the way to Estes Park.
