If you’ve gotten a couple of parking tickets in Lyons over the last few years, and you’ve put off going down to court in Town Hall on the third Wednesday of each month to take care of the fines, consider yourself notified the next time you park in Lyons (legally or not), you could find yourself uttering the line, “Dude, where’s my car?” The Lyons Board of Trustees (BOT) on Monday evening passed on second reading an ordinance that will allow the Town to impound vehicles, which have been ticketed twice in the last three years, and have failed to pay

“Confetti” At Town Hall

Confetti is often the colorful evidence of a celebration. It is also the theme for the daring to be dazzling upcoming new art show at Lyons Town Hall, opening Friday, June 8, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
All interpretations, media, and abilities are welcome for drop off on Thursday, June 6, between 4 and 7 p.m. Each entry for this non-juried show should be ready to hang with a completed placard containing: title of work, name of artist, pricing, and current contact information. New artists will be asked to fill out a contract at time of drop off.
