On Monday, May 22, service to Denver International Airport (DIA) from Boulder Junction at Depot Square Station via the AB bus route will begin. This service change is reflective of the City of Boulder’s and the US36 Mayors and Commissioners Coalition’s long-standing efforts to negotiate an increase in bus service from Boulder to Denver Airport. Increasing transit service to and from the region’s largest airport will enhance Boulder’s national and international connectivity, making traveling to and from Boulder – including the new Boulder Junction transit station - more convenient and accessible for local and regional residents and visitors alike.
The AB currently provides a direct route from the Downtown Boulder Station to Denver Airport by way of Broadway Avenue to US 36, then uses the Northwest Parkway for quick and reliable travel times to the airport. This route will continue to operate on
