Berthoud Historical Society hosts Third Saturday Events

Throughout the summer, the Berthoud Historical Society will host an event on the third Saturday of the month.  Saturday, June 20, the Society hosts its Home and Garden Tour, Art Unveiling, and Tractor & Car show.  Come to the McCarty - Fickel Home Museum (645 7th Street) from 10 am – 4 pm.  At 11 am, the Society will unveil several works of art by local artist Brenda Leedy that will be auctioned off at the Society’s Pioneer Gala in September.
   
On Saturday, July 18th, the Society invites the public to attend a Garden Party and Wine Tasting at McCarty-Fickel Home museum grounds.  This fun, “high-brow” affair begins at 2 pm and will feature wines from Blue Mountain vineyard, foods that pair well with these wines, and

Tolls Waived on US 36 Express Lanes During Testing

The High Performance Transportation Enterprise (HPTE) and CDOT announced the opening of traffic on two US 36 Express Lanes for a brief testing period, enabling travelers to try the road as a commuting option while toll collections are waived. Waiting For Godot

In Samuel Beckett’s absurdist play “Waiting for Godot,” nothing ever happens. The two main characters, Vladimir and Estragon, find themselves in a loop where situations and dialogue repeat themselves as they wait endlessly, and in vain, for someone named Godot.
