I have been asked lately, “Just what is a string band?” So, I thought I would, with wikipedia’s help, give you all a little description of string band music.

Unfortunately, they were trying to get that win against Fast Signs, who were still licking their wounds from the drubbing they took last week, at the hands of the Blue Mountain Bullies. In their quest for a third repeat of double gold, the Lyons Lions traveled to the Colorado State Track and Field Championships where the Lady Lions were expected to have a legitimate battle with Paonia and 2A-newcomer Hotchkiss, as well as their usual worthy eastern plains’ competitor, Akron. Senior Nola Basey led the charge with her superior jumping abilities by taking the high jump win on day one with 5’4”.
