The water on Ewald Avenue will be shut off from approximately 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. today, November 24, due to waterline construction on 5th Avenue. The team will be working mindfully for minimum shut-off time. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Park St. and Prospect St. remain closed to through traffic, and 5th Avenue near Park and Prospect is reduced to one lane today.

The Lyons Community Foundation’s (LCF) annual Gala fundraiser at Lionscrest is this Friday night, November 20, beginning at 5:30 p.m., with a cocktail hour, hors d’oeuvres, live music, dinner, dancing, and a silent and live auction. This year’s theme is “Experience” and will feature an opportunity to bid on travel and adventure packages including a safari excursion, vacation packages to Crested Butte, Breckenridge, and Steamboat, gourmet and beer-pairing dinners, and other one-of-a-kind experiences.
Besides being the “must attend” event of Lyons social calendar, the Gala is also the main fundraising source for LCF’s annual granting cycle, which allows for many important and worthy projects that enhance and improve the quality of life within the greater Lyons’ community.

As energy costs continue to rise, help is once again available for Boulder County residents who struggle to pay their winter heating bills. LEAP, the Low-income Energy Assistance Program, is accepting applications now through April 30, 2016.
