Perhaps a common question to ask in the upcoming election for Boulder County Coroner, or Coroner in any county of Colorado is “Why are we electing a Coroner?” Should it be an appointed position; should we have a Medical Examiner system?

A bill to reimburse homeowners for property taxes paid on property destroyed during the September floods passed the House Finance Committee this afternoon. The committee vote was 11-1.

The bridge at Second Avenue in Lyons will be closed for approximately one month for temporary repairs that will allow access to both lanes of the bridge by May 1.
