Overview

Most of the Lyons Recorder web site is open to the public. But some of its nicest features will require an account. We have two features that require an account. Here's a fast description of each. Additional features are coming soon. Read the Policies For User Accounts.

Classified

The public can view Classified. Posting an item for sale requires an account. The account will allow you to edit your items for sale and delete them after they have sold.

Article Submission

Articles submitted to us must still go through our editorial review process. When you create an account on the web site, you won't automatically get permission to submit articles. We hope to loosen our controls as our web site matures and experience with this new feature deepens.

Policies For User Accounts

1. You must register with your full name. Your email address must be active. Accounts with ambiguous name or inactive email addresses will be suspended.
2. The Lyons Recorder is a "G" rated site. Language, photos and items for sale must acceptable to all segments of the community including children. Posting offensive materials will result is suspension of your user account.
3. The Lyons Recorder reserves the right to delete any material it finds inappropriate for the community.
