The Lyons Elementary School PTO wants to thank the entire community for their heroic efforts in support of our Jog-A-Thon fundraiser. The Superhero themed fundraiser called many heroes to action and we had record-breaking results.
As a school, we ran more laps than ever! The students were zooming around the racecourse with their capes flying. We collectively ran about 6,000 laps, which is equivalent to about 300 miles.

On Friday, September 18, Lyons Cross Country traveled to Broomfield for the Broomfield Invitational. With overcast skies and cooler temperatures, the conditions were great for racing. Lyons Elementary School’s Jog-a-thon fundraiser will take place on the morning of Friday, September 25, from 8 to 11:30 a.m. The public is welcome to come witness these incredible kids, and can join them for a picnic lunch outside following the event. This year’s theme is SUPERHEROES!

The Lyons Elementary School PTO sponsored an all-school field trip to the Wild Animal Sanctuary in Keenesburg last week. On Thursday, October 9, three hundred fifty-eight students, thirty-nine staff members, and seventy-three parent chaperones boarded
