The Lady Lions traveled to Brush for the annual Beet Digger’s softball tournament. The always confusing round robin format, and the “random placings” and “ever changing placings” by Brush sometimes means even with a better record, you may not make it to the championship game.

Shaeli Herman had a pair of singles, and Madison Johnson had two singles to go with her triple. Liz Jonjak who also roped a triple, had two hits, a pair of RBIs, and a couple of runs scored.
