After coming off a confidence-building win at the Alexander Dawson School Tournament, the Lady Lions were ready for a battle against the Brush Beetdiggers. Last year, their match went to five sets, with the Beetdiggers winning the fifth set 15-13. That was not the case this year.

The Lyons High School football team did the community proud on Saturday afternoon (September 21). They played their first game since last week’s flood, against the Clear Creek Gold Diggers, on an away “home” field (Longmont High’s field) in front of an enthusiastic crowd of fans, who were there to support their kids and community, and to get their spirits lifted.
