The Lyons High School Lions varsity football came out last Friday night, and had their way with an undermanned, overpowered Nederland Panthers team. Lyons won the coin toss, elected to receive, and that was just about the ball game. After a good kick return, running back Justin Boldt took a hand off on the first play from scrimmage, ran 34 yards for the touchdown, and the Lions ran away with the game.Junior quarterback Logan Watson added to the offensive juggernaut by rushing for two touchdowns, and hitting Boldt on a seventy yard catch and run for a score.
