Roberts Takes Individual Honors

The championship season is officially underway and the October 6 Patriot League meet on the home course in Lyons did not disappoint the fans of cross-country. The day was humid and cold, which actually makes for nice running conditions. However, with the course being wet and the grass long, Coach Roberts
figured the course to be slower than usual by about 15 seconds. None of this stopped the Lions from staying focused and tough with many runners setting new personal records (PR’s) or season bests (SB’s).
