Part 2 – State Prospects For The Girls

The girls went into last year’s state meet ranked 4th, and after a tough race they finished 4th. Lyons has taken a girls’ team to state twelve times in the program’s sixteen-year history, and at least one individual in those four non-team years. In 2010, they brought home a first-ever trophy, of the runner-up silver variety. This year, the Lady Lions are working for another, and aiming for gold.
