On Thursday, Jun2nd, the Lyons 12 year olds opened their season against the Giants in Longmont Baseball League. The result was a convincing 17 - 2 win. Leading the offense were Colton Hanratty with a home run and triple, Levi Nagy with a home run, Jack Gilson with a double and triple and Luke Irwin had 2 RBI singles. Every member of the team reached base and scored at least once. Pitchers Preston Stansel and Jack Gilson combined for 8 strikeouts and only 3 walks.
