The Boulder County Commissioners and Coroner Emma Hall joined staff on Wednesday, May 7, to break ground on the new County Coroner Facility adjacent to the Boulder County Sheriff’s Headquarters. The groundbreaking heralded the start of infrastructure site work for a new 9,275 square-foot Coroner’s facility.

Since the catastrophic floods of 2013, much has been said about raising funds to repair parks, roadways, hiking and biking trails in Colorado. One such drive is to save Meadow Park in Lyons.
The park area was initially mentioned in The Lyons Recorder, December 15, 1910, indicating that the
