A Spice of Life Catering, owned by Lyons resident Dan Bruckner, has been recognized by Colorado Meetings + Events magazine for a reader’s choice award as “Best Caterer – Outside The Denver Metro Area.” The award was presented on Monday, March 14, at the 5th Annual “Best of Colorado” celebration ceremony at The Cable Center in Denver.

With the addition of the completely fenced 10-acre dog park and the growing population in Lyons of humans with their canine friends, there became a need for the dogs to have a voice! The Lyons dog park, plus the whole dog community of Lyons now have their own Facebook page.
Next week, March 14th through March 17th, the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will install bridge girders for the new 80th Avenue bridge over US 36. The work will require a full closure of eastbound and westbound US 36 for four nights, weather permitting.
