Experience The Adventure

Experience The Adventure

By Lizzy Scully

Have you ever met a small boy while hiking on a trail who handed you his pet monkey, who then wrapped its arms about you and nestled sweetly into your chest? DeSano, long-time owner of Experience, Inc., a clothing and jewelry shop on Main Street, also runs Experience Adventure Tours. Since 2006, she has immersed small groups of women in Thai culture.

Ask the Handy Woman!

By Kehli Mason, The Handy Woman, LLC

“When you have exhausted all possibilities, remember this - you haven’t.”  ~Thomas A. Edison

I recently received a phone call from a client who noticed a small puddle of water under her water heater. She was understandably concerned since this was only a three-year old water heater. Kids Discover Lyons History At Camp

Kids Discover Lyons History At Camp

by Kathleen Spring

Do you know which Indian Nations settled in Colorado? Do you know if Lyons sandstone is mainly used for commercial or decorative purposes? Do you know how early Lyons pioneers washed their clothes without electricity? If you do not know the answers, you can ask one of the children who attended this year’s History Summer Day Camp at the Lyons Redstone Museum.
