On December 18, 2014, Larimer County and its Contractor, Connell Resources Inc. will close US Highway 34, at 10:00 PM to install a concrete bridge girder as part of Project No. 9241 Big Thompson River Pedestrian Bridge.
Installation of the bridge girder is expected to be complete, and the US highway reopened to traffic, on December 19, 2014 at 4:00 AM.

The City of Boulder Parking Services is holding several parking promotions for the holiday season to encourage shoppers to shop in the University Hill and Downtown business districts. Beginning Friday, Nov. 28, through Wednesday, Dec. 24, parking enforcement officers will surprise shoppers each day by randomly handing out coupons for three hours of free parking at Downtown and University Hill parking pay stations.

Dear Lyons residents,
The holiday celebration along Main Street and in Sandstone Park was exceptional this year. The fireworks with their exploding rings of color and fountains of light bursting into a cold winter night sky delighted us. Sandstone Park is just one of our gems in Lyons and this weekend it shined with dancing lights and brilliant colors. We appreciate and
