The Oskar Blues CAN’d Aid Foundation recently partnered with Grassroots Outdoor Alliance to raise $50,000 for ColoRADo flood recovery at a fundraising event held at The Big Red Barn in Highland Meadows in Windsor.

The issue of retail marijuana sales (as opposed to medical marijuana) within the Town of Lyons was on the agenda at Monday night’s Board of Trustee (BOT) meeting. First as a pre-meeting workshop (from 5:30 to a little after 7 p.m.), and then as a continuation of the first reading of an ordinance from three weeks ago (June 16).

Letter to the Editor:
Two weeks ago approximately 64% of “active” registered Colorado voters received primary election ballots. Although I am “active,” I did not receive a ballot. As one of the 35% of Colorado voters “unaffiliated” with either major official party, all I received was a letter stating that I need to “affiliate” in order to vote.
