As a result of public demand, the Lyons Depot Library is completing the transition from the current library cards and paper card catalog system to a fully electronic system. This improvement was identified as a top priority by library patrons in a user survey.

The Town of Lyons Parks & Recreation Department will once again implement a five-dollar per vehicle parking fee for those who wish to park in the Meadow or Bohn Park parking lots on weekends and holidays. The parking fee will be enforced for the 2013 summer season (April 15 through October 1).
