Whether it can accurately be described as “ironic,” or perhaps “O. Henry-like” (if there is even such a word), is open for discussion, however the result of the request for approval of a retail recreational marijuana business license by Headquarters at Monday night’s special Board of Trustees (BOT) meeting certainly came as a bit of a surprise. After a summer of feverish work, a new Montessori school opened up in the old parsonage next to the Lyons Community Church.
