A “hub” can be defined as, “The central part of a wheel, rotating on or with the axle, and from which the spokes radiate” or “A place or thing that forms the effective center of an activity, region, or network.”
The time is nigh for defining the potential hub of Lyons.

The filming of the movie, “Dear Eleanor,” here in Lyons during the last couple of weeks caused a bit of excitement around town. Large crowds showed up at the Lyons Village Central Plaza last Wednesday to watch the filming, and maybe catch a glimpse of one of the stars.

Race officials estimate that over fifty thousand people turned out on Memorial Day to participate in the 2013 running of the Bolder Boulder.
