This week I spoke with Marcelo Ferreira, the Emergency Management Coordinator with the Boulder Office of Emergency Management (OEM), who helped me understand how the OEM helps coordinate disaster response and recovery efforts.

After a summer of feverish work, a new Montessori school opened up in the old parsonage next to the Lyons Community Church.
