The Fourmile Canyon Fire, the most devastating wildfire in the history of Colorado, started on Labor Day in a remote area of Boulder County. A week later, thousands of acres of forest were burned, and over 160 homes were destroyed. Thanks to the heroic efforts of the firefighters, no lives were lost, and many homes, neighborhoods, and communities were saved. Planet Bluegrass is proud to present and host a “Fourmile Canyon Fire Community Fundraiser” to help out the victims of the fire.
The concert, featuring the music of The Romano Paoletti Band, will be held in the Wildflower Pavilion at Planet Bluegrass on Saturday, October 2, at 8 p.m. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased at the door or online at www.bluegrass.com. Doors open at 7 p.m. As always, parking is free at the Planet and popcorn and beverages will be available in the Pavilion. All proceeds from the event will be donated to our neighbors who have been affected by the fire.
Paoletti, a local favorite who recently entertained at the Lyons Community Barbeque, and frequently performs at Good Old Days and the Sandstone Summer Concert Series, will be joined by musical guests Spring Creek, Eric Thorin, Sally Van Meter, Todd Moore, Don Ambory, Jessie Burns of Gaelic Storm, and Amanda Paoletti.
