Laurie Kennedy, owner, founder, and teacher at Lyons Community Montessori (LCM), is pleased to announce an exceptionally enjoyable new class from the Love and Logic Institute, designed for parents of children age six and younger (this curriculum actually applies very well through age ten). This will mark the fifth time LCM has offered this class to the parents of the community.

This parenting class will help you: show kids that whining, arguing, and disrespectful behavior does not pay; put an end to misbehavior in public and get you off the “entitlement bandwagon;” reduce morning and bedtime conflicts; calm sibling bickering and battling; and get you out of the middle of disputes, teach problem-solving and responsibility; increase the odds that the teenage years will be “fun” instead of “frightening;” stop yelling, pleading and bribing, regain sanity; and put the fun back into parenting!
