Girl Scout Daisy Troop #3970 from Lyons Elementary School delivered Girl Scout Cookies Saturday, to their Hometown Heroes, the Lyons Fire Protection District. This Girl Scout Cookie Sale 2010 season, during the initial sales orders, Daisy Troop #3970 girls sold over 1,100 boxes of cookies and had 18 boxes of cookie donations delivered to their Hometown Heroes. A heartwarming thank you and deep appreciation goes out to our Lyons Fire Fighters Hometown Heroes for all the protection, dedication and hard work they provide in fighting fires in and around Lyons. Great job, Daisies, on the cookie sales, cookie donations and delivery to our Hometown Heroes!
The 2010 Girl Scout Cookie Sale finale concludes with Daisy Troop #3970 hosting a cookie booth on March 5 in the Lyons Elementary School Gym, from 5 – 8 p.m., during the Spring Carnival, Silent Auction & Raffle Triple event. Please stop by their cookie booth for your last chance to purchase Girl Scout cookies directly from our very own Lyons Elementary School First Graders, Girl Scout Daisy Troop #3970. Cookie sale donations are still being taken for our Hometown Heroes, the Lyons Fire Protection District.
