So, you might be wondering if you should go to the Lyons 9Health Fair on Saturday, April 20, from 7 a.m. to noon at the Lyons High School. You’re thinking, “There is nothing wrong with me. Based on continued feedback from the community, the Lyons Board of Trustees identified exploration of a possible swimming pool among its priorities for its two-year term. This is not meant to raise expectations about actually being able to build a community swimming pool, but rather to initiate the background work necessary to ask the questions of whether a pool might be possible, what type of pool, how could it be funded, and where it might be placed.

To the Lyons Community,
I’d like to personally thank all of the blood donors who came out on Easter Sunday to support the second annual Lyons Community Foundation Blood Drive. Together with Bonfils, we once again over-exceeded expectations and were able to “fill the bus!” Thirty-seven donors, and we sadly had to turn a number of people away. There were twelve new donors; those that have never given blood before. The demographic profile was a true mix.
