The Lyons Garden Club and the Town of Lyons were the recipients of many many beautiful plants and shrubs to enhance our town ABSOLUTELY FREE from Mary Bukszar owner of Ute Trail
Greenhouse. Mary has decided that it is time to close the greenhouse and concentrate next season on her heirloom tomatoes and other vegetables. She most generously let The Lyons Garden Club know that any remaining plants were free for the taking for Town planting. Debbie Simms, Allison Jennings, and John and Anne O’Brien were able to choose several car and truck loads of plants to bring back to Lyons.
Being able to choose free plants is always a good thing (sort of like turning a kid loose in a candy store) for these Garden Clubbers and with funds short and all the money for the 2010 year having been spent, it was indeed a treat to be able to select such wonderful plants.
Thank you, Mary, a million times over for the HUGE contribution you have made to us and our town. It is hard to express our sincere thanks, so we will just say we hope you are able to enjoy the plants you gave us next season and for years to come. We all certainly will and there is a big reward in that! Thank you again, Mary, from The Lyons Garden Club and the Town of Lyons.
