Dear Editor,
I would like to take a moment to write a letter of gratitude and thanks to the residents of the Town Of Lyons, the Lyons Recorder, and to in particular to all those who gave so generously of their time, their businesses, and their art and musical talents. You all helped ensure that as a town that cares for its own, our Taking Care of Our Own concert and silent auction benefit for Amber Wilson was such a success, I say thank you!
To those who helped this benefit raise nearly $ 2,700, I say to you all that only in beautiful small towns such as our town is it possible to make something like this come to fruition and help a good friend and Lyons pal, Amber Wilson, out in such a time of great need. Lyons is the kind of town I feel a spiritual connection with.
