Dear Lyons Community,
I am not one to brag; I mean do you call it bragging when Muhammad Ali said, “I am the greatest”? I have however, won the red chili grand prize in the annual Lyons Garden Club Chili Cook-off two out of the last three years.
I hear tell that there may be another challenger for best red chili in this year’s event (more on the event later from the Garden Club). Rumor has it that there is a certain newcomer from Texas who may be gunning for me.
