Celebrate the romance and freedom of automobile travel at the Estes Park Medical Center’s annual gala. This upcoming benefit will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2011, in the beautiful new Assembly Hall at the YMCA of the Rockies, just 4.7 miles from the intersection of Highways 34 and 36 on what used to be known as Spur 66.

Everyone in the community is invited to participate in what has become Estes Park’s most entertaining annual benefit event. There will be a silent auction, a live auction, dinner, and dancing to the music of the lively Riverside Ramblers. Much of the band’s repertoire will be from the ‘40’s, the same era as the famous Nat King Cole song, “Route 66.”

The annual gala is a benefit for the Estes Park Medical Center, Estes Park’s critical access hospital for essential services in the Estes Valley. This year all funds raised will go toward meeting several immediate needs for five different departments at the Medical Center: the ambulance department, the dietary department, the New Life Center, the surgery department, and Prospect Park Living Center.
