Three Workshops to include free photos with Santa, story time with Mrs. Claus, ornament decorating and cookies & milk.

Experience the magic of the season when Santa and Mrs. Claus arrive at Centerra for the holidays.

Stationed at The Group, Inc., 5401 Stone Creek Circle (just east of The Marketplace at Centerra) Jolly Ole Saint Nicolas will be present to listen to all the wishes of those who were naughty and nice. As a sponsor, Kodak will capture the special Santa moment with the children free of charge.  Santa’s sleigh will also be onsite for a family photo opportunity.

The Workshop, presented in part by Clear Channel Radio, will also feature ornament decorating, cookies and milk, coloring and story time with Mrs. Claus. Holiday stories include The Grinch that Stole Christmas and Twas’ The Night Before Christmas.  Wendy’s is also sponsoring a holiday coloring contest.  Children will receive a free junior frosty when they turn in their completed colored page to the participating Wendy’s Restaurant at Centerra.

Attendees to Santa’s Workshop are also encouraged to participate in Centerra’s Winter Clothing Drive to benefit Loveland’s House of Neighborly Services. All new and gently-used coats, hats, gloves, sweaters and all other cold weather clothing will be collected at the event to be distributed to community members in need of staying warm throughout the winter season. Clothing may be dropped off in the holiday bins located in The Group’s entrance starting December 4th through December 18th. Clothing will be accepted during normal business hours when workshops are not in session.

Community members can also enjoy Centerra’s holiday lighting program that includes more than 1,500 trees lit and over 18,000 strands of LED lights throughout the Centerra community.  Hues of warm white and cool sapphire blue will illuminate Centerra through February at its main entrances in addition to Medical Center of the Rockies, Chapungu Sculpture Park and Kroll Factual Data.

This event is free and open to the public.  Centerra’s Santa Workshops are sponsored in part by Clear Channel Radio, FLEXX Productions, Royal Crest Dairy and Kodak. For more information about Santa’s Workshops, please visit www.centerracolorado.com .
