Another Great Lions Club Golf Tournament

The Lyons Lions Club of Lions International held its 19th annual golf tournament Monday, July 29, for the fourth year at the Lake Valley Country Club. Eighteen four-person teams enjoyed golf, fellowship, lunch and prizes on a just-right cool morning.

The tournament is the local Lions Club’s only fund-raiser for its benevolence that includes high school scholarships and awards, scout troop sponsorship, eye sight exams and glasses, highway clean up, 9Health Fair cashiers, help for local folks in need, and more.  The Lions Club welcomes new members.

Pictured are (right to left) Jack St. John, Greg Harms, Dave Brininstool, Clark Hodge, and Mill Site Inn proprietor Carol.  Carol commented that we were the first exclusively male book club to visit her
