CEMEX in Lyons, recently hosted a firefighter training session for members of the Boulder County Wildland Fire Cooperators, a non-profit agency that supports safe and effective all-hazard training for emergency first responders. CEMEX provided its Dowe Flats Quarry site for the training
session, where sixty-five attendees from nearly twenty fire departments and park agencies from the area and across the state were instructed on a variety of emergency protocols.
“CEMEX values the opportunity to support important community initiatives,” said Shane Wilson, Plant Manager at CEMEX Lyons. “We are pleased that our partnership will help enhance emergency safety measures in local communities across the state.”
