IRS to Start Processing Delayed Returns on Feb. 14

The Internal Revenue Service plans a Feb. 14 start date for processing tax returns delayed by last month’s tax law changes. The IRS reminded taxpayers affected by the delay they can begin preparing their tax returns immediately because many software providers are ready now to accept these returns.

When Dave Chase came to Colorado, he just wanted to race mountain bikes. But then he fell in love, got married, became a father; you know how that goes. Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program available at FRCC

Front Range Community College will offer free income tax preparation assistance to low- and moderate-income filers this tax season.

This is the eighth year the Boulder County Campus has participated in the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program through the Internal Revenue Service. VITA helps people with incomes of less than $50,000 who need assistance preparing their own tax returns.
