The American Council of Engineering Companies of Colorado (ACEC/CO) named Nancy Clanton, of Clanton and Associates, Inc., the 2013 Outstanding Woman in Engineering at a special ceremony held last month at the Lakewood Country Club. The prestigious award recognizes an outstanding woman in a leadership position who is recognized for professional achievements in the engineering profession, and who is a visible role model for young engineers. After living in western Pennsylvania for most of their lives, Jay and Elaine Hodge decided it was time for a change; time to live closer to a son, daughter-in-law, and grandson, as well as two sisters who had all relocated to the Front Range of Colorado. Hodge decided to take the work experience he had accumulated in the foundry business and as a human resource officer, and apply it to the wine, spa, special events, and guest accommodations business.
