Every year one of the highlights of the Chamber of Commerce activities is the awarding of the annual $1,000 scholarship. The business people and community leaders of the chamber work together to sponsor programs that enhance the commercial and economic climate of the Lyons community. In turn, the chamber awards this scholarship to a Lyons High School student who exemplifies this philosophy by
contributing to the Lyons business community through employment or civic involvement.
